Hand-blown glass vase of deep amethyst and amber colors formed to resemble woven material. Slender oval shape. Etched signature to underside that was typically used throughout the 1970's. Pale blue glass vase with textured spiral pattern. Iridescent finish to the glass. Great scale and beautiful model. This vase was most likely retailed through Pauly & Co. as presumed by the Pauly label affixed towards the bottom. Published: This form is shown as part of a small grouping in a story about the Venice Biennale that year. Domus Magazine, Oct. 1938., Pg. 46.
