Monumental Vase by Giovanni Gariboldi for Richard Ginori

Fantastic over-scaled porcelain vase with large indent and textured relief of doves on branches. Glazes in glossy pale green and white. This was created during the period when Gariboldi was the design director of Ginori. Published: Innen Dekoration #9, 1936. This vase is shown in Gio Ponti’s room at the 1936 Triennale in Milan. Pg. 306. Excellent condition.
